Ember Fusillade not shooting enemies

According to the tool tip the projectiles are supposed to be fired "at an enemy". While fighting the Executioner the projectiles shoot off towards the buildings or wherever the Exile is looking. If that is working correct that it is supposed to shoot in the area you are walking or looking then the tool tip should reflect that. But since it is not than I am thinking it is not working as intended.

I am playing a monk and do not have any support gems linked on it.

Can confirm this skill does not autotarget very well. If you stand perfectly still and so do the enemies it has a pretty good chance of targeting properly but that's also a death sentence... If you're moving around at all, or casting another skill when it goes off, it almost always fires in the middle of nowhere. It's a shame because it's an extremely cool skill and a blast to use when it manages to work right.
