Being pushed around is not fun

Pretty much the title. There are way too many enemies, especially very small and quick enemies, that can literally just slide you across the floor on a whim. It feels very janky and it gives the impression that your character isn't stable. They can also do it to totems, which looks equally weird and really removes a lot of their utility since you can't have them in a constant position. This is heavily exacerbated by the AI's swarming behavior, and sometimes you can literally just be pushed into a corner by quick enemies that are visually one quarter your size.

To be clear, I'm not saying that appropriate enemies being able to push you with an attack is bad or anything, I'm saying that when a rock ant can roll me 50ft across the desert as I try to get out of the way or a bunch of wolves can literally just carry my shockwave totem away it seems like the game is broken.

Being pushed around in Act 2 by Colossus and Tor Gul bosses, makes camera or your character jump around - looks very janky.
Part of the issue seems to be desync, or similar.

I have a feeling with some polish, it'll be better. If it's a rare thing that only some enemies do. It's not bad to keep it in the game. Right now though, I do feel like I'm getting pushed around and caught on enemies alot. There's also camera issues associated with it.

Trying out whirling strike on quarterstaff.

Act 1 cruel, spriggan enemies literally slow walk into me while I whirling strike and they push me...

Charging and rolling enemies pushing you make sense. But it seems they wanted to implement it on too many things.

You get pushed around a lot by boss swinging attacks which make the fight frustrating for melee.(even if it's not a big boss)

And it makes the fight feel janky.

I've been surprised how little attention this has gotten tbh, losing control of your character never feels good. It's frustrating at best but when it's inconsistent and unclear what's moving you, where and how, it's just an infuriating experience.

In places it feels like the games just broken and warping you around with lag rather than an intended mechanic. It's not feeling like an added layer of challenge, it feels like the game is bugging out.

This is bang on the ball - its so janky when you get pushed by a monster lol like you stutter backwards.

and people say this is the game of the year? hahahah even basic animations are poorly designed.
I like knockback but don't think it's been implemented well. Genuinely large sluggers or a big explosion warrant it, the tiny rollie-pollis not so much.
