Janky rotation with right stick (Xbox controller on PC)
Hi guys
I'm finding aiming (rotation) with the right stick to be pretty bad on PC. The movement is jerky and inconsistent. I'm using an Xbox Wireless controller with the Microsoft wireless adapter so it's not a Bluetooth or connectivity issue. And other twin stick games like Gauntlet Slayer Edition are buttery smooth. I've tried playing around with the deadzone settings but it doesn't help. Any ideas? I'm not sure whether it's a bug or if it's just the way controller input feels in this game. Came for the story. Stayed for the blood. https://www.twitch.tv/BinaryfireTV https://www.youtube.com/@BinaryfireTV https://x.com/BinaryfireTV Last bumped on Dec 8, 2024, 1:31:18 PM

To reproduce, try standing still and moving the right stick in a circle slowly. It's even more noticeable when you don't push the stick all the way to the edge. Movement with the left stick is totally fine - it's just aiming that's the issue.

My aiming on a controller is smooth. The problem seems to be that it needs to be fully pressed with a total value of 1 in order to aim in a direction. With the deadzone setting seemingly not working.
https://hardwaretester.com/gamepad I would go to the link above to make sure that your controller is reaching the correct values for the jitter. Otherwise I think the bug is mostly deadzone isnt working and clamped to max value when it should be adjustable. |

This is an issue for me too. I notice that the right stick is clamping to U/D/L/R causing it feel bad. Dead zone setting having no effect. Using steam, but steam input is disabled.
Checked input on https://hardwaretester.com/gamepad to confirm it wasn't a me issue. Last edited by Logickane#5017 on Dec 8, 2024, 1:31:57 PM
