Hard freezing PC randomly

This has happened to me twice. First time was right after fighting poe2 hillock and entering town. The 2nd was when I was teleporting from town to grelwood after almost full clearing GW.

It locks up my whole system and the only way to remedy is to press the shutdown/restart button on my case. Hopefully you can fix this issue as I am really enjoying the game so far. Amazing work!

Same here, did reset pc 5 times or so. Drivers updated and hardware is almost new. Gave me chills when first happened.

Just adding my reply to affirm that I also have this issue, 3 hard crashes (as in, restart PC and all) and 4 soft ones (having to only restart the game), this seems somewhat frequent, read some folks in Steam and Reddit saying the same. Hopefully this gets resolved soon.

Same here. I had around 4-5 hard PC locks and about 7-10 soft lock ctd. Brand new built pc updates bios and drivers. Got one hard lock on a fresh booting of the client and the others in game at various times.

Mobo: MAG B650 Tomahawk Wifi
Cpu: 7800x3d
Gpu: 4070 ti super

it seems to be when entering clearfell. I've been testing for like 20 min as i just created a new char and couldn't zone in. Went to a char on act 2 and tried to tp there and comp froze. So any new player is kinda SOL. gonna verify integrity on steam than try poe client

edit: yeah same thing happen thru standalone client. Clearfell is just fucked ATM. I'm assuming it's a patch they pushed so dont logout an update if you can avoid it

edit and now it just worked on the char who was TPing there????

Same here, full freeze and the GPU fan goes full speed.
Have to force PC off/reset (no blue screen or black screen, can see what was on the screen when it happened, but not responsive).

Happened 4-5 times, both on the login screen and also while playing.

ya gotta give more info man, like are you using steam, have you taken the updates put out

had this happening to me 8 times. sometimes as soon as i start the game, other times after i was playing for more than an hour. i can still move the mouse when it is still on screen, but nothing else responds. had to hard reset the pc every single time

I had it both on the standalone launcher and on steam
