POE 2 - Difficulty picking up loot - Witch - Minions

I'm a witch minion build. When loot and defeated enemy corpses are on top of each other I cannot pick up the loot when left clicking in one try. My mouse highlights the loot and defeated enemy corpses and takes many left clicks to pick up. It feels as if the defeated enemy corpses are blocking the loot.

I have to use skill Unearth to remove the corpses before it allows me to pick up loot without an issue. When I open a chest with no enemy corpses are around I pick up the loot on the first left click. Kind of a weird situation to be in. It is taking forever to pick stuff up.

Just started a new witch, and its very frustrating.
