Item PickUp

Are there options to improve/force item pickup? I couldnt find any in the options.

Ive bound a skill to leftclick (as i did in PoE1), but i need to click like 8 times and stand pixel perfect on an item to pick it up, when theres an enemy nearby i cant pick up at all.

I'm having the same issues!

I would really like to be able to pickup multiple items at the same time... Also, when I try to pickup items, it activates my skills even though I'm clicking exactly on the item name. Which sucks when I have charged up skills bound to mouseclick.
