Display freeze after fighting the rust king

Hi,
What felt like 30 seconds after killing the rust king my screen froze on me. The audio continued and I seemed to be able to cast spells but the display was locked. I tried pressing escape and the game pause, but with no display change. Then I hit "M" for microtransactions since it usually does some loading and I hopped that would refresh the display.
