Arctic armor reserving 40 spirit (not 30) AFTER I crashed and logged back in

I did the quest and attached the 30 spirit buff to my arctic armor spell. The spell is supposed to reserve 30 spirit leaving me with 100 spirit to use for 2 archer pets. But after I crashed, when I logged back in its costing 40 spirit to reserve. No I have not leveled the spell up its still lvl 4 and states 30 spirit reserve, but its reserving 40.

Ignore this, support gem was adding 10 spirit. I need to learn2read.
