After 2K+ USD lifetime spent and a 100$ pack, I still had to buy 30$ access to pre-download the game

I hate to admit, this early access, early dl thing is as complex and complicated as the game itself. The promise was anyone spending more than 480$ on POE1 would get instant access which I do not get. I have 2k+ USD spent in total and i have no idea where is the access in that. I bought 100$ pack and GGG main page tells me I am now eligible. I heard you can pre dl it, but I couldn't. I had to buy the access again 30$ to be able to pre dl. All I ger from support is to wait. My issue is there's no clear cut info on the access, the keys, which client, when, It's all confusing, I can't even tell if my access had bug or whatever is going on. I feel uninformed, scammed even!

if you want to pre-download the game on steam or epic - in the section of yours account there should be 2 keys - steam and epic. Need to use them to be able to do pre-load. Do not know from where you buy the key - from GGG or any platform.

I'm sure you could ask support for help if you spend so much money - but remember platform PC XBOX and PS4,5 won't add up - maybe that was is the issue here? or mail in spam or blocked by antivirus

People really will try absolutely nothing and do no research and ignore the people in the reveal stream who said "if you don't get a key, contact support" and then come here to complain about not getting a key

I have friends in California who had purchased the $30 supporter pack through the POE 1 microtransaction shop and were able to download POE 2 through Steam last night.

I'm in Iowa and I purchased the $160 supporter pack through the POE 1 microtransaction shop. I still don't have the option to pre-download and when I check my account for the key, I have a key for the standalone client and Epic, but for Steam it gives me the message "Sorry, these keys are currently unavailable. Please check back soon!"

I'm assuming so many people bought the $30 pack on Steam, GGG is still waiting on Steam of produce all of the codes. I'll plan to play through the standalone client for now.

I sent a message to Support@grindinggear on Nov 24 informing them that I had spent 2000 USD with attached file showing the amount I had spent since my account said "I was ineligible to gain early access"

I received a reply on Nov 27 from Support@grindinggear saying

"Thank you for doing that"
"If any other queries contact us again"

In short I only received a thankyou message.

Then i bought 100$ pack and gave the key to friend who couldn't buy it thinking I would have access from my lifetime spent.

Then, the news was out that we could pre dl the game and I couldn't dl the game from Steam (I use steam and only steam) I had nothing so i just had to buy the 30# again to get a promt to dl. Not only had i already spent extra 30$ to start downloading I have absolutely no idea where my lifetime spent access is.

Did you spend the money on supporter packs or on points? Only supporter packs are counted towards the amount.

Also, if you asked on Nov 24, that was probably too early. They released access over a period of time after the announcement. For example, I got mine about a week after the announcement.

Did you check your "My Account" section here on the website to see if you have an extra key for access? If not, send another message explaining very clearly, and ask about your extra access key.

I've played POE since 2016 If I'm not mistaken during the time when Ascendancy was introduced and I have 17,172 hrs playtime. I have solely played POE nothing else during the last 8-9 years (Yes 17k hrs is alot but most of it is during Covid and afk-ing). I've spent around 2k USD in that time on which specific items I dont know, mtx in general and suporter packs. Im not talking about points spent here.

Like I mentioned I only received a "Thank you" message on Nov 27.

Bought 100$ pack and gave that key to a friend still thinking the supporter pack access would give me access on launch and so I waited. But the pre-download happended and I, like everyone else wanted to pre dl a 90gb beforehand. So, I was forced to buy a new access 30$ to begin downloading.

My issue is not about how much I've spent, that doesn't bother me, I'll continue to support them. I sinply believe there should have been a better and clearer info regarding the access, keys, client, clear timeline from GGG side. I did message my issue to GGG to no avail this time. It's obvious there are many more like me facing this issue.

They were clear. They said that if you met the threshold and didn't get access, wait until early access begins to ask them about it. Early access begins today.

I already asked them on support 3 hrs ago with no reply and yes I know I have the threshold. The steam client key which was unavailable ever since this started is still unavailable. I did wait till launch but they opened the pre download that's when the problem bagan. I didnt have my steam key from lifetime spent, didnt have steam key from 100$ supporter pack. I had to buy 30$ access to begin the dl. The other 2 keys are still unavailable.
