Windows Installer Allocating Space on C:
Trying to install PoE2 with the Windows installer and it doesn't seem to let me select a drive or folder. It just starts allocating space on my C: drive and I have to kill it before it fills up.
Is it possible to target an installation folder or another drive? Last bumped on Dec 9, 2024, 11:56:51 AM

There is no button for me.

Thank you, and thank you for not posting the forehead slap GIF too. I went too fast and expected that option to be on the actual launcher.

Where can i find "options"?

The options button is only on the very first pop up window when you start the installer .exe you downloaded.
Run that .exe again and choose uninstall. Then run it and on the first window with the EULA agreement there is an options button. |

Ran into the same problem. Freed up 40 or 50 GB of space it still brought up a "insufficient space on disk" generic exception popup.
Should say how much it needs and also offer the option in the launcher to reallocate install drive targets. edit: (how do I post images? please update your forum software it's like 15 years old) Installing now - game needs approx 87GB. Positive side effect: I have now 60GB free space on C:, I cleaned it up from a lot of clutter Last edited by Free_#4627 on Dec 7, 2024, 3:43:09 AM

It really sucks because I miss this option too. Never experienced something like this. It's bad UI design of instalator.
