Steam Client download & Key unavailable

GGG, Please help on this as my POE 2 not able to download and in my POE 2 early access showing

If I play on standalone version can I still transfer my character to steam after that?

Give it a try now. See if it works with POE1.

Early release morning, still no steam keys available. Cry.

I clicked the link I received, and immediately hit claim key. I got one for EPIC. But I don't want EPIC, so I won't claim it.

Can I still get one for Steam or even use the standalone?

I can´t see the Steam key yet either, My question is, if I download the Standalone client can I still transfer it or connect it to Steam?

When I bought my key yesterday [from GGG] I had the option to claim a Steam key. I think what's going on is that EVERYONE that buys from GGG shares a pool of Steam keys and it's "first come, first served".

I suspect the only thing we can do is to get the standalone game and wait until a new batch of steam keys becomes available.

FYI: For people like me that only logged into the PoE website & game with Steam I recommend you set up an Email on your account and make sure that you put a [manual] password on your account. That "should" (?) be enough to log into the PoE websites without Steam AND to also use the same user & password on the standalone game client.

I was downloading game in Steam. And i think it was not finished. "Play" button in steam is inactive. "Path of Exile 2" steam directory is 0 bytes. All downloaded files 80+GB are in depotcache. Is it OK or I need smth to do with it?
