Unable to verify account, no steam key

Hi! I recently got given access to the early access of PoE2 through purchasing a supporter pack. When on the https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/early-access website however, it claims it has no steam key to give me. Saying it's currently unavailable, I tried downloading the standalone client for the pre-install. But now I can't login as that requires an email to be filled in. Attempting to connect my email with my steam account on the account management website gives me the error "You cannot add this login method to this account.
The email on the account you want to merge must be verified to complete this process." But I can't find the option to verify my account anywhere, I'm able to do everything in game just fine such as purchasing supporter packs and have no option there, nor can I find anything on the website that would let me verify my account.
Browsers I've tried are chrome as well as the built in Steam web browser

I also am having a similar problem. I signed in to POE website via Steam, since I bought a POE 2 supporter pack on steam. Once I downloaded the launcher (due to no steam keys being available) and ran it, it is asking for a sign in but no option to sign in via steam. When trying to add an email to my account to sign in with that, I never receive the email to verify.
