Unable to redeem key on website

I'm having issues trying to redeem my key on the website, when I try to redeem the key I get an error stating the: This key is not applicable to your account.

So my bad it seems like I didn't have to redeem the key on the website, I downloaded the POE2 client and it installed, was able to log in manually and it work got in a que so I believe it works, though got kicked from the que and now keep getting an unexpected disconnection occurred error when trying to log in.

i can't either. i've spent over $1,000 on this game and i can't even download the new game. i have friends who paid $30 who are already in queue and I can't even download the game even though i took work off for it. I will never buy a single piece of poe content ever again, not that they care since they already got so much money from me. literally 1500 bucks and im left out to dry...

I'm having the same problem. BughattiLeather...it's many hours away from release, you need to chill. Nothing is wrecked or over yet...just be patient and i'm sure GGG will work out this bug. Also did you send a message to support like they suggest? I mean you took the day off work, at least put a little effort into finding the solution.

I also thought I had to redeem a key, but it says in the FAQ that these types of accounts are already "redeemed" here: "As we have also announced earlier, if you've purchased a top-tier supporter pack for $480 USD in the past or have spent $480 USD or more in lifetime purchases in Path of Exile on a single platform, you'll automatically have access to Path of Exile 2. I hope this applies to you OP, but I imagine it applies to BugattiLeather#0682 at the least.
I don't have a steam key yet, but if I don't get it, I will just use the PoE launcher.

For anyone having this issue, it's actually not GGG/POE's fault, it's our fault for just not doing it right. I just put up a youtube video that explains this, you can search on youtube "How to Download and Login to POE2 - Help with Early Access Problems"

The jist is you went to this website we are on right now, lets call it poe1.com and you got your code and then you tried to redeem it here on POE1.com. That's not how it works. You need to go to pathofexile2.com to download the client to play. But also if your key is for buying in game content (not gifted to you) then its already tied to your POE account, you dont need to redeem it. If you were gifted they key, you need to go to pathofexile2.com, login, click shop, click redeem key, and you should be good.

Just wanted to let everyone know if you are logged into your playstation or xbox account and the code is only available for epic or steam it will not work. You have to create a new account and play on one of those services. It worked for me! Just cant play on my xbox but it is what it is.
