Is Hong Kong the default server?

Maybe this will go away once EA has started but I noticed that the auto selected server is Hong Kong, not Washington DC which I'm use to seeing when playing PoE1. Maybe it'll remember what I picked once I can log in.

There are going to be additional patches. The servers will restart again. Gateway status will change.

I thought it is Hong Kong because Hong Kong is the closest gateway for me. Used to play on Singapore server when PoE1 first launch and never change.

It might just be the one it defaults when there is a null gateway.

Fairly certain that what's happening is the null gateway is seen by the auto-selector. From there either with a lack of data it outputs a 0 or null is specified somewhere to return a 0. This leads to the auto-selector thinking the ping is 0 for the HK gateway instead of whatever it should use internally for non-functioning gateways.

I had the exact same thing yesterday and today it defaulted to the lowest ping yay. I'm going to chock that issue up to overloading.

poe1 always chooses the game server with the shortest answer time (on ping) as default
