[Instructions] How to Install PoE2 in a Custom Location

1. Download the installer and run it. It will run quickly and say "Installation successful". This is telling you the installer installed, not the game.

2. You probably have a shortcut now labeled "Path of Exile 2", or you can find it in your start menu. Right click and open file location. This will bring you to the default file location, inside a folder named "Path of Exile 2".

3. Move this entire "Path of Exile 2" folder to wherever you want.

4. Double-click PathOfExile.exe in the new location. The game will start downloading, and you should see the Content.ggpk file size growing in your new location.

(Note: if you copied instead of moved in step 3, make sure you launch PathOfExile.exe from the *new* location in step 4, and verify that the Content.ggpk file is growing in the new location rather than the old location.)

Alternatively, you can fully download the game and then move the whole folder to a new location. I did this for PoE1 and it runs fine. Just make sure to update any shortcuts you may have to the game executable.
