POE 1 Stash tabs post merging sub-accounts for POE 2

Hi. Looking forward to POE2. If I decide to merge the micro-transactions of my two sub accounts, does that mean for POE1, I will lose the microtransactions on the original sub account I am transferring away from?

Example: I have Xbox and PC subaccounts. If I decide to merge everything onto my Xbox subaccount, then when I log into my PC account to play the next POE1 league (or the current one), will I still have any of the stash tabs/MTX I bought for my PC account? OR do the merged microtransactions only affect POE2 play?

I am trying to decide when is the best time to merge, to which account, and which account to buy the POE2 supporter pack since coins aren't mergeable. If it helps, I am unlikely to play POE1 on console anymore but will bounce between the two for POE2.

I am aware there is no cross-purchases for POE1 hence my desire for clarity. Thank you for your help.

Hi there,

When we merge microtransactions from one sub-account to another, it is considered a transfer rather than a duplication. This effectively means these microtransactions will be removed from the account they are coming from and added to the account they are being merged to.

Please keep in mind this process is a one-time customer service gesture intended to benefit players who may choose to switch their primary platform due to the changes we made with our account system.

TY for the quick response.

Sounds like my best course of action would be to migrate all my console MTX to my PC account (since that is now my primary POE1 account) and then it'll work itself out for POE2. Plus it will put all my coins in one place.

I know you can't tell me what to do, but does that seem like a fair assessment?
the transfer is only mtx not points
