POE2 couch co op on Windows 11

Hello there and appologies if this is not the correct path for asking:
Will you be able to play POE2 on Windows 11 as couch co op on one PC (with controllers attached) or this will be console exclusive option.
I read and viewed several opinions so I hope that the official forum is the best way to get the correct answer.

Yep i'm wondering too, because i got 1 Xbox controller and one PS4 controller, so i hope i will be able to play with my mate with those 2 different controllers on the same PC as Couch Coop ^^".

I have not tried this, but looking at the options this should work.

Once in the character selection screen and you switch to a controller the selection screen will be split into two. For me with a single controller attached I can select one character on the left and on the right it says P2: connect a controller.

Looking in the options under input I got options for Controller #1 and Controller #2. It says supported controllers: DualSense, DualShock4, Xbox Wireless and Third Party X-Input Controllers. I am trying with a wired Xbox controller.

What doesn't appear to be supported as of now, and I hope this will change, is co-op with one player using a controller and the other using the normal way, i.e. correct way, of playing :). For the Controller #2 the options are <None> and Xbox Controller #1 (greyed out, because it is assigned to P1), can't select WASD or mouse & keyboard here. So for co-op you need two controllers.

Also, you can co-op on a single account only for now as is mentioned in the EA FAQ. In interviews it was mentioned that multiple accounts would be possible, but it looks like that is not yet available.
