POE 1 just one Try per Atlas Map

Hi everyone is there a mayor change in POE1 Atlas maps?
Yesterday i was able to reenter an Atlas map after leaving it as long as there
were still portals left.
As for today one death or leaving the map and the map is closed totally.

Is that normal? Part of a new Patch or is ir a bug?
