Does GGG every do twitch drops or cosmetic rewards that aren't for sale?

Are all of the drops/rewards for cosmetics always something that's sold in the shop? They don't ever give out anything that isn't available in the shop?

I have to say when I earned my demi gods I was kind of confused as to why I couldn't use the cosmetic effects without equipping the item itself. It would be nice if instead of demi gods we won a cosmetic that was unique and not available in the shop or trade-able. Something we could actually equip while in battle that didn't fit into a weapon/armor/jewelry slot.

The newly revelealed twitch drops are new MTX, not in the shop.

So yes, this is new behavior to go along with the new hand MTX from their last twitch drop.

As far as your other question, the /reclaimracereward command should move any race rewards to your cosmetics cache but I'm not sure if demigods would be in there, check the wiki.
