POE 2 - Suggestion: Demo
Hi,
I want to suggest a little "tech-demo" to see how the game runs before buying early access. an example: - only the starting zone - block/remove passive-tree and characterscreen (and other panels) - offline basically just running around and kill first few mobs without spoiling anything unwanted. ARPGs are a game genre that tend to run on most PCs out there.
It's not like Cyberpunk 2077 where u need a higher end PC to run the game fluently on medium/high. As long as you don't have a DDR Toaster as PC u should be fine....or simply try another F2P multiplayer game with good graphics and if you can run it fluently you def can run POE2. ;) Last edited by CroDanZ#1818 on Nov 29, 2024, 6:50:01 AM

" Bold statement considering how PoE1 used to run xd (even still tbh) |

" I think there's no PC on this planet that can run a fully juiced 100% Deli Map fluently with builds that clutter the whole screen. ^^ Good that POE2 tries to avoid such situation simply by slowing down the game drasticaly and decreasing screen clutter builds to 0 (or at least thats the plan). |

" Can't you just buy it on steam, and refund within the 2 hrs if it runs bad on your PC? Of course you'll eventually get an "endless demo" when it launches as it's F2P then. |

" It only ran badly in super juiced maps, was fine most of the time unless you hadn't upgraded your PC since closed beta or you did some dumb shit you read online would improve your performance and did it without knowing what you were actually doing. What the OP is asking for is kinda pointless, just standing around in the starter zone isn't any indicator how the game will perform when properly playing it.
