Offline Mode

Just hoping to know if there might be an offline mode for Path of Exile 2. Myself and a lot of my friends are in the Navy and spend a lot of time at sea without internet access. A common past time is to play games offline or set up a LAN party to play certain games with or against each other. I would totally understand if there won't be an offline mode, or if there is, the offline characters being unable to be used online. Thank you, have a nice day.
