I think we can safely conclude that regional pricing will not be changed again.

Its been 4 days, and there has been no official response or mention from GGG, and nothing but bs response's from support. It really shouldn't be hard to answer...

The reality is many people who are better off than others in those nations that have had their prices adjusted have gone ahead and bought packs since the changes. If GGG were to change the prices back again they would be flooded with refund requests from most likely a very large number of people all over the world.

Quite simply the fact that GGG have made 1 game that is really good, and another that looks like it is going to be very good, doesn't change the fact that GGG have been utterly faithless towards the community in the past.

From claims new league mechanics would not be turned into stash tabs, to the opposite happening until there were massive outcries against it.
To QoL not being implemented for years only to be released alongside ridiculous nerfs to mask the outcry. Or even just outright nerfed drop rates never mentioned in patch notes in what's suppose to be a game to have fun in, who hides these kinds of things...
To as we have seen with this issue completely ignoring issues that deserve answers.

Sorry fellow exiles but I'm pretty sure our loyalty to this game wont even warrant the courtesy of an explanation.

Edit: I forgot to mention this since I thought it was well known.
Multiple nations have not lost their regional pricing. Some of those areas as a matter of fact have prices that are even lower than what the nations that had their prices increased had.
So the argument that vpn scamming redemption is the cause of the price increase was a reasonable guess initially but as time goes on is proven to be false.

They should not let us suffer real players to those scalpers trying to make money on exploiting regional pricing system in steam.

I bet some of those who reply in steam are scalpers trying to defend there cause. So that GGG won't make a solution for it.

The amount of people abusing this system is miniscule compared to the number of players regional pricing would bring in from Latin America and Asia.

THere are still regional prices active on some other countries. =(

You never bought any packs despite playing from 2015 and only messages you have are in giveaways. So you wouldn't buy EA packs as well, don't see how regional prices concern you at all.

Is this what the Poe community has become? I'm a returning player and I’ve been playing Path of Exile since college. Now, as a father, I saved a little for myself to buy POE 2 as my escape from life’s stresses. But I can’t afford it anymore the price has skyrocketed, thanks to scalpers exploiting the regional pricing on Steam. It’s heartbreaking.

Blame the frauds. The scale had to be massive for them to pull out from regional pricing.
