Question about PC Platforms (Steam/Epic/Standalone)
Hey I've read the FAQ but the PC platform access part is a bit confusing. Do you get access to all three PC clients regardless of where you bought your early access pack from?
For example do you get access to the steam and standalone client if you buy it on the epic games store? (via the https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/early-access website) Last bumped on Nov 28, 2024, 9:30:12 PM

Hi there, as stated in our recent Path of Exile 2 Early Access FAQ:

I am not sure about this phrase: "Please note these keys only unlock the client in your library, they do not on their own provide early access to your account."
Does this mean I can buy the game on Epic Store, claim the key (via Epic Store) and then redeem it here on pathofexile.com and play via the standalone client? |

"There is a distinction between storefront client keys and early access keys. In this case, a Steam or Epic client key should be made available to you with your early access supporter pack. These keys only unlock the client in your library, they do not on their own provide early access to your account. Then there are the early access keys, which grants a Path of Exile account early access to Path of Exile 2. Without a client key, a player cannot add the game to their game library to download, and without an early access key, the player account cannot play Early Access. | |
Sorry Jacob, I am totally confused.
Speaking separately to the above, could you please help me with my question: if I buy the following early access on epic store, will I receive an early access key to redeem it here on pathofexile.com to bind it to my account in order to play on the standalone client, or will I be forced to keep playin only via the Epic client?
