Account Discriminator change request (low priority)

The autogenerated account discriminator for me is #2797 and would like it to be changed to #7700
I don't know if this is something Support has the tools to do yet or if this will end up being more of a long-term request. If it's similar to the old name change where you just need me logged out of my account, just let me know a good time to do that. I'm afraid that the discriminator number is randomly assigned to each account. I apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.

Lol Mod just said this is random, implying they cant give you a specific one. No need to message them again about this im afraid.

" The account discriminator number hasn't even been around for a month, I'm sure there are other people besides me who would like some agency in the situation. In the cases where the discriminator was necessary (multiple accounts with same name) random might have been the fairest way to handle it in the short timetable to get servers ready for the changes. I understand nothing can be done right now; I feel like I understand the causes of the situation and don't mind that it has to be this way for a while, but see no reason that this is permanent. I'm asserting that it is something desired by at least one player (me) and that I'm willing to wait and not be pushy about it while the devs are at the height of their workload - it clearly isn't a game breaking issue. |
