Help and Information - PoE2 and consoles how does it work? - Forum

Hi, i played PoE1 for a long time on my comp. I have an account there with some nice packs and stash tabs etc. Then I bought xbox and installed PoE1 there, microsoft created new account for me, i don't have anything on that account cause PoE1 on xbox just feels bad. During stream i bought new support pack and earned a PoE2 EA on my PC(main) account. After that i just connect feature to connect microsoft and ggg. Right now it looks like i have both connected to 1 ggg account, i have new button "switch account" 1 with micro transactions, 1 empty. Both with EA to PoE2. There are some things which are not clear to me right now: 1. Do i have to do anything else on the xbox(buy additional pack or something) or just wait till preload is available? 2. Will my stashes and other stuff from pc(main) account available on PoE2 on the xbox? 3. What happen if i buy new stuff in PoE2 on xbox, which account will it be bound to(main or microsoft)? 4. If I buy new cosmetics on the console will they be visible on pc? 5. Can cross play my characters on pc/console? Hi there, As stated here: 1 - " Upon purchasing your first supporter pack that includes an Early Access key, that key will be automatically redeemed on the account the purchase was made. You don’t have to do anything else, just download the game client when it’s available and login on launch day! If you're unsure about your status, or want to view any of your keys, this information is available under my-account/early-access. 2 - " Stash tab purchases made in Path of Exile 1 will be available in Path of Exile 2, where relevant. For example, a special league-related stash tab might not be available in Path of Exile 2 as that content does not exist there. We will be updating applicable stash tabs in Path of Exile 2, and stash tabs like the currency stash tab will hold different items to what it holds in Path of Exile 1. As far as I have understood from reading other forum posts, and based on the FAQ. My understanding is that early access is not account specific, but rather platform specific. In that a supporter pack purchased on one platform (I.e., PC) is not considered the same as one purchased on a console platform (i.e., Xbox). Therefore you need to purchase EA on Xbox (in game on console) in order to get access to the client, even if you already purchased access for PC via the website. That being said, mtx is not platform specific, but account specific. So whether you play on Xbox or PC, you will have access to all the mtx of the sub-account which you are using. For example, in my case, I purchased the 480 pack on the website for play EA on PC, but as I sometimes play on XBox (with the wife), I will just purchase the 30 pack on Xbox in game for the EA. But whether I play on Xbox or PC, I will have access to all the mtx of the 480 pack (and any others on the sub account which i decide to use). I am not saying that I am 100% correct, but this is what I have understood so far. I have no problem with this personally, as I don't mind giving GGG another 30 euros, but I must admit that it was not clear at first. Just to be absolutely sure that i understand that correctly and there will be no surprises on the 6th... 1. if microsoft sub-account is allowed for EA I can just wait till client hits xbox store and thats it. 2. both pc and console poe2 clients will allow to select sub-account I want to use. 3. if I have all packs on 1 sub-account(PC), I can just ignore the second one(console) forever and happily play using just main(PC) one on both pc and console? I'm interested in this too, even mailed support as it's not clear and people keeps saying the EA is platform specific. I simply want to know if I have an account like this one that I played on since beta and I use that to create a PoE 2 character on Dec 6th and then after playing for a while I want to go sit on my couch and play the same character on my PS 5 will I be able to? And if so do I need to make any preparations on my PS 5 beforehand where I never played PoE before? Seems to be a lot of confusion surrounding this. Greetings, I'm not sure if this has been answered. I play on xbox and was looking forward to purchasing a supporter pack for POE2.. however the packs on the Microsoft store differ quite a bit from the actual POE website ex: The Vaal Supporter. Microsoft store: No 2 keys No t-shirt No 1600 points (1500 points) And not entirely sure you get all the cosmetics as the Microsoft store doesn't really display well on what u get for... an astromical price of $190 + Canadian.
