PoE2 Atlas
I'm wondering if it is possible to block out end-game completely in PoE2.
What I mean with that: During official "endgame content release", Mark Roberts describes the new Atlas, which seems to be more like Delve to me. He says that the starting point is the Ziggurat in the middle where you essentially have a map device (t=46:58). The atlas will be random, but in the screen, the Ziggurat has 4 adjacent maps. So I assume that the Ziggurat has a rule to have at least some maps connected, I guess it will be always 4. Waystones are used to open portals and the level of the waystone defines the level of the map. So far, so good. However, failing a map will completely shut down that map, blocking all adjacent maps unless you find another way around (t=48:09). However, this can lead to a complete lockout from endgame if you for whatever reason (e.g. unstable server/connection, time issue, ..) fail ALL maps connected to the Ziggurat. Question to GGG: Is this a possible scenario? How will it be resolved (e.g. grant new Ziggurat somewhere else or first maps cannot be blocked as mentioned in the video)? Regardless of what they said, it would be pretty stupid if you could permanently brick your Atlas. Surely they will have thought of it.

I really hope they clear things up about this.
Otherwise if you can really brick your endgame progress permanently then that's a huge problem. And they'll have waves of people messaging them because they'll be too scared to touch it if they fail. |

You can reset your Atlas, in case you fail all available nodes.
