Unable to connect to login server -Mac

I updated POE from Steam and I click the button to log in and I get the message-
"Connecting to login server...
Unable to connect to login server"

I tried changing servers but no luck. Been several day now.
Never had the problem before.

Mac OS 13.7.1

I'm having similiar problems, also on a macbook pro.

I can usually log in, but then get "failed to connect to instance" when i select a character.

After that fails, login always fails. Sometimes my log in will fail immediately.

If the connection fails immediately it means that you're not on the latest version of the MacOS. So the solution is to update your Mac so you're able to login again

I don't think the latest version of OSX is the problem; i'm on 15.1.1

However, I did try the directions at this wiki and I'm playing again, so i think the problem is with my steam client.

Since I'm on an Intel iMac, Mac OS 13.7.1 is as far as I can go. The minimum system requirements for POE according to Steam is 10.13 and recommend 10.15. So It should work.
