POE 2 supporter pack question.
|
Hello.
I have some money in my steam wallet and I would like to know if I can somehow buy supporter pack on poe microtransactions shop instead of steam, because it's much cheaper. Im interested in 60$ supporter pack. Is there no option to buy 60$ supporter pack with 600 points bought in-game using steam wallet money? If there's some way to bypass steam store method I'm all ears. Thanks in advance. Last bumped on Nov 23, 2024, 3:27:40 PM

There is in fact, up to the $100 tier. The others that include physical goods have to be purchased via the poe site.
I did the same as you for the same reason but it is... complicated. I would suggest logging onto POE1 via Steam, go ingame, press M > and choose the supporter pack page via the shop and see if you can pay via steam wallet and if you get the same price you are looking for. That would be my number 1 options because I guess then, it will immediately associate your account with the purchase, you get your access key, MTX, as well as points. What I did feels like a mistake. I went to https://store.steampowered.com/app/2694490/Path_of_Exile_2/ and I just added the $60 one to my cart and purchased off-game. It went through, it's in my inventory etc. but when I log into poe1 I neither have the points nor does it know that I am supposed to have access. Maybe it's a lil design quirk and if you do it as I did, you have to wait until EA launch to get your goods & access. |

" Hiya, I'm afraid we are not able to upgrade to Supporter Packs using a point balance. Supporter Pack upgrades are completed using the monetary amount of previous purchases which are eligible to include in an upgrade. However, you should be able to upgrade using purchases which are eligible either via Steam or the standalone game client. |
