POE Early Access Key

I’ve spent around 2500£ on pc alone on POE yet I’m needing to “bribe a friend” for a key? I thought 480$ was the amount I needed to spend? I saw another post stating I should contact once it launches but then I’m missing out on the initial launch period and everyone will be ahead?
I don’t mind spending some money for the key but when you’re offered it for the money you’ve already spent youd kinda expect that? Also my friends in the same boat he has spent more then 480$ and is yet to receive one still. Last bumped on Nov 26, 2024, 4:39:21 PM

I have spent over US$700 and when I go to Path of Exile 2 Early Access I get the message "Your account does not have access to Path of Exile 2 Early Access. Bribe a friend who has a spare key or purchase now."
US$420 alone is from Supporter packs and the rest from buying points. All cash I have transacted with GGG. I guess I am not enough of a whale for them. |

Whats the issue with spending another $30 if you guys already spent hundreds/thousands?

" They haven't distrubuted all the keys yet. They're doing it over the next two weeks before PoE2 EA launches, not all at once. |

The wording on the account.
"Your account does not have access to Path of Exile 2 Early Access. Bribe a friend who has a spare key or purchase now." It doesnt say you qualify for an early access key and we will be distributing them at a future date. Instead it says that my purchases from GGG do not qualify. |

" Because the game is free to play. Any purchase of supporter packs is something to do once you have played the game, determine the expansion is good and then as a consequence you reward the development work by purchasing a supporter pack. I would be more than happy to purchase a supporter pack if the game is good. However, we cant do that. We cant play it without paying. Considering the poor quality and/or implementation of a number of recent leagues the track record doesnt support the idea of paying money prior to playing the product. As I said if the game plays well and is good, even incomplete, I would be happy to purchase a supporter pack. But GGG are essentially saying "trust me bro". |

People seem to have a hard time reading basic english.
If you have spent a total of $480 or more your account will be enabled to access PoE 2 within 2 weeks. That statement was made on thursday, so you will have access on launch. |
