Patch is very slow to download in UK.
Usually flies down and in minutes, it has been about 15 minutes and only at 0.47% that would take years at this speed. Yes, I have restarted the patch, PC and my network. Same issue in Australia. 2% in like 10-15 minutes and I'm on a gigabit connection.

Since I posted only at 3.28% now. Glad it's not only the UK then. Tongue in cheek that is.

I can install the whole game on steam in 6 minutes, well before the patch for the stand alone client finishes.

Its not just the UK. US is doing it too. Someone forgot to build a patch package and has the patcher literally downloading each file and replacing it one by one...

ye west coast USA client doesn't even begin the download. let it sit for 5 mins, nothing
