I don't think there's been any indication that there is going to be a ruthless mode in POE2, and I also think GGG has a clear desire to design POE2 so that there's not a need for or demand for a Ruthless mode.

Ruthless was also introduced to make PoE1 feel closer to what it was at release, wasn't it ?
(So it's possible - if GGG gets carried away over the next decade, by making PoE2 ever zoomier and lootier - that we get a Ruthless-like mode for PoE2 around 2034 or ??) |
