I am scared of this thing, I can safely mitigate other extraordinary skills from unique bosses, or pinnacle bosses, or even bonkers rares. But these guys even if they are magic pack or normal pack, they hurt like a brick. \\ please nerf them. TY player agency, where? POSSIBLE SOLUTION:
================== I had the same sudden death problems with cannibals. Therefore I changed my build several times to find a solution for the problem. After the following 3 changes I survived for the first time a T16 map with Cannibal monster groups. 1) Because the cannibals caused a sudden death, I assumed that the first cannibal hit killed me. Therefore I changed my major Pantheon from LUNARIS to SOLARIS. Here KITAVA guarantees "8% reduced elemental damage if I haven't been hit recently". 2) My old build had only 0% "Estimated chance to evade attacks". I changed my build to 50% evade chance. 3) My new build has better life/energyshield (old: 4382/1393, new: 5150/1422) I don't know whether all 3 changes are necessary to avoid the sudden death. Perhaps it also works with one or two of them. Please try and survive :) Other stats: Fire res: 76% (116%) Cold res: 76% (92%) Lightning res: 76% (94%) Chaos res: 34% (34%) Physical dmg reduction: 54% Estimated chance to evade attacks: 50% Chance to block attacks: 23% Chance to block spells: 55% Last edited by SchalbiBalbi#1498 on Sep 15, 2024, 1:42:19 PM

I'm doing a Strand map T16 with these modifiers: Players cannot inflict exposure Players are curse with Temp Chains Monsters have 77% chance to avoid elemental ailments Monsters deal 108% extra physical damage as fire 73% quant, 44% rarity, 19% pack size. My resists: 84% Fire (115%) 80% Cold (111%) 81% Lightning (130%) 76% Chaos (76%) 84% Estimated Physical Damage Reduction 80% Spell Suppression Chance 100% chance to avoid all elemental ailments 70% chance to block attack damage (+ lucky block takes it to 91%) 62% chance to block spell damage (+ lucky block takes that to 86% Cannot be stunned Immune to Poison Major Pantheon, fully upgraded Soul of Arakali Minor Pantheon, fully upgraded Soul of Garukhan I frequently do all 15 waves of Simulacrum (Deathless). The fire cannibals in this easy map are more dangerous than Kosis and Omniphobia in the final waves of Simulacrum. It's ridiculous how overtuned the Cannibals are. Also adding my 2 cents: I have a lvl 99 Jugg with 82% max fire resistance and 7 endurance charges. This mob instantly melts my character before I recognize they're on the map. Something's clearly not right behind the scenes.
