Installation Issue

So I downloaded the installer from the website, ran it, and installed that file. Everything seemed fine at the time, but then I discovered I installed it on a drive where I didn't want it. I ran the installer again and selected remove. This caused a whole mess of issues, resulting in an error message saying, "Another installation is in progress. You must complete that installation before continuing this one." Remove doesn't work, Repair doesn't work, restarted my pc, checked task manager to see what processes were running, didn't see another installer. Couldn't remove it from the control panel, can't remove it from the installer, and I can't run the game either.

Wat do.

Thanks for the input, but problem is the .exe that is currently installed no longer works after I attempted to run the installer and remove it. Every time now I run the installer, the only options I get are remove and repair, neither of which work, they both say that I must wait for the current installer to finish.

I have gone into my control panel and uninstalled other programs just to test to see if I could. Other programs could get installed, but PoE still has the same issue where it says, please wait until the current program has been uninstalled.
