Lose X life per second does not get transformed to lose energy shield per second with zealots oath
With lake of Kalandra reflecting mists back in the game, I made a ring that has Lose X life per second. I am CI and have Zealot's oath allocated. Considering that "Regenerate X life per second" does get transformed with zealots oath and this is the reflection of this mod, shouldn't "Lose X life per second" cause you to lose X ES per second with zealots oath allocated?

Life loss is not regeneration, regeneration cannot be negative, so Zealot's oath does not work with life loss.

It's a weird interaction that has been around since Scourge and Kalandra league when it was first possible to get the lose life values. Many people learned the hard way to not take that node with CI + Zealot's. Pretty sure regular life regen still works to offset, but have not tested personally with CI.
Lose life is no longer considered life regeneration when it is mirrored, now it it is a degen. Zealot's Oath applies to life regen mods. Sucks to find out this way. On the brightside, when looking for good mirrored rings, you can easily block lose # life mods from showing up in the filter. |

Thanks for the responses. I do see, now, that it is a separate mod, as Mark's post discussed. I just wonder if Zealots oath should also incorporate life loss.
