Fencoil Question

I'm not entirely sure if this is a bug, but I'm using the Fencoil Gnarled Branch because I found it as a drop. I currently have it setup with absolution, and when it kills things with absolution it spawns the minions. I also have herald of purity slotted in on my armor or something. However, whenever I kill things with the mines it won't ever spawn my herald of purity minions. I'm not sure if this is an intended interaction so I'm just trying to find out. Thank you!

Herald of Purity requires you killing the enemy or hitting rare/unique mobs to spawn Sentinels. You are the one using Absolution so it can spawn Heralds. Mines/totems/traps are not you so they cannot create Heralds.

The staff gives you trap, so you can't use it with Absolution. You just need to be the one hitting to create the heralds. Pure Herald builds typically use Storm Brand or something that hits rapidly to spawn them. But for hybrid builds like you're doing, you're better off just self casting Absolution.
