Monsters gain 6 endurance charges and take no phys damage

In delve areas with "Monsters gain an endurance charge on hit" mods, I keep running into monsters that get what looks like 6 endurance charges and take no damage from my phys build. I might be misunderstanding something but it seems strange that my damage gets reduced fully to 0. It's also not just tanky rares or anything, it's often a weak normal rarity mob that takes no damage whatsoever, but can be killed instantly once I let the charges fall off. ![]() Last bumped on Aug 22, 2024, 2:33:11 PM

since you are in 400+ depth. Do you have problem with other monsters of the same depth (w/o that area mod)?

Same issue for me, at ~350 depth. Nodes without that mod are fine, and even with that mod, monsters die rather quickly unless for some reason they get to have that many charges, at which point they take no damage until the charges expire.

" which is THE problem, charges got changed from multiplicative to additive values while monsters retained theyr much higher value that allows them to reach total damage immunity which shouldnt be a thing EVER the value of charges on monsters need to be lowered (or they max cap on nr of charges) in a way that would make the highest possible "less damage taken" value to be equal to what you otherwise can encounter in highest Delirium which is 80% unique, 90% rare, 96% for the rest. it also needs to override the "map/node" modifiers of "monsters take x% less damage from y" to again prevent them from reaching total immunity or become multiplicative with such modifier having tanky enemies to fight is fine, them becoming totally invulnerable IS NOT |
