Special Rituals not showing up when using Ritual Scarab of Abundance

While running Ritual with and without said Scarab on Dunes / Defiled Cathedral it seems like it either drastically reduces the chance to get a special Ritual encounter or it completely disables it. Running 60ish Maps with Abundance, not one Nameless Ritual for example (new King in the Mist one). After running maps without it, it shows up like once every 10-15 maps. Tested multiple runs of 40-60ish maps with and without. Special Rituals seem to spawn more often without Ritual Scarab of Abundance, King in the Mist one just spawned without.

Can someone verify or is it just me? One person is a small sample size after all.
