when i use the orb on any t16 map i can only get one of the four following maps: Lighthouse Sepulchre Crystal Ore Orchard, no matter what tier circle the original map was.
this renders the item virtually useless (unless you actually want one of those 4 maps) at endgame. i am unable to target any map, unable to change any map to anything other than those 4. at first i thought i was using the wrong maps, but nop, even maps that are originally t1 will roll out of that tier into one of the four Last bumped on Aug 8, 2024, 5:04:31 PM

Orb of Horizons only reroll map into map that naturally in that tier.

in that case, as i thought, that item is practically useless to anyone mapping t16s

It was first introduced in Harbinger, 7 years ago. It still is very useful early league when you are completing atlas passives or a lot of players use it for certain maps they will never run anyways (although less relevant this league since you can just feed those maps to your mappers).
If you don't like them, they still sell 5-6 per 1c to people that use them or hide them from your filter if you finished your atlas already. |
