Atlas Tree Swap In/Out Metamorph

Hi, long time casual player, didn't play a lot of 3.23 or 3.24 (burnout) but back for 3.25. Why was Metamorph removed? I might be in the minority of players that enjoyed Metamorph, my understanding was that Metamorph went Core and Ultimatum didn't go Core (although it has now been made core).

The return of Metamorph in the future for players that want it, would be appreciated. As per 'player agency'. Players could benefit from a system that swaps out one league mechanic on the tree for another league mechanic that was removed (the atlas tree is crowded and there will be new leagues in the future).

For example, if I don't want Ultimatum - it would be nice to be able to swap back into the atlas tree Metamorph. As crazy or unpopular as that may sound to others.

Granted this is a big ask of GGG. Understandably the changes to the atlas tree might not be compatible with such a 'swap in, swap out'.

Enjoying Settlers of Kalguur for the most part (losing 3/4 of shipment events is not quite as enjoyable - certainly makes me want to throw tea in the harbor when the 'King' takes 3/4).
