Brine King = avoid frozen doesn't work?

After captured Captain Tanner Lightfoot I got active "100% change to avoid being frozen" with Brine king Pantheon.
Unfortunately I got freeze few times from one of the mini-boss in JUN mechanic on the map and in the safehouse. Does anybody know why? Last bumped on Jul 31, 2024, 3:49:26 PM

One of the syndicate equipment items lets them summon a petrify totem. Maybe that?
