Nameless seer and scrying

Hey,
I've been doing defiled cathedral for the past couple of days and I yet have to see nameless seer. I saw some msgs from people saying they had to backtrack and they randomly found seer. Is that the case? If so defiled cathedral has very unfriendly layout to do 2 laps around it... Also, am I correct in my assumption that I have to run Defiled Cathedrals to then eventually move cards to Jungle Valley?
