Kingsmarch ore smelted despite not having a smelter for that ore in place

Hello,

I am trying to upgrade my town and for that purpose I have no smelter installed for Versium bars, as I need the ore for the upgrades.
That is my setup at least since yesterday and I did find a couple Versium ores.
I had a couple hundres ores, but today I noticed, that despite not having a smelter for Versium I got no ore left, but a bunch or bars more in my town.

Seems like a smelter was looking for work where he should not have.

Got the same problem, Verisium is being smelted, if workers are assigned to any other ore smelting task.
e.g. I had workers in Orichalcum ore smelting and still Verisium was smelted. Also needed only the ore for upgrades.
Temporary workaround, until fixed, is not smelt anything, until you mine all the necessary ore and do upgrades.
Anyway, to the defect list this goes.
This is intended. It is explained in the Help panel that this is how it works for Smelting and Mining.

You will need to unassign your smelters to keep that ore.
I'm having the same issue with Bismuth. It's my highest available ore type at the moment as I started a few days late into the league. Even though I don't have any smelters assigned to Bismuth it's all smelted when I come back home from work, so I can't upgrade my town or my ships with Bismuth ore. I assume the same happens with all the ore that I farmed yesterday. I will try unassigning all smelters when I come home today.
Ah, so it is, should read manuals once in awhile :P
Anyway, this should be made an option, since how are we supposed to smelt only specific ores for upgrades and use pure ores for upgrades as well.
Or bars could count 5:1 for upgrades, like they do in shipping.

oh my... you are right.
Thanks for pointing that out. I still think this is not ideal, as mentioned by Epicine, I'd like to have some smelted, but leave these... but okay. No smelting for now it is.

Thanks
