Used currency exchange to sell a Divine Orb for Chaos, but got the Divine back as well

I put a Divine Orb up for sale at the Currency Exchange and it sold instantly. I then got a red error message (which I did not have time to screenshot) which read something like "Too many requests" (which is weird, since I don't really use it a lot, and this was my only item up), and I was then able to remove both the Divine Orb and the Chaos Orbs I received for it.
