Bismuth and Verisium Ore does not get properly marked for party members
|
When finding Bismuth and Verisium encounters in areas, only the creator of the instance gets ore marked for their town. In a 2 player party, the issue with bismuth can be worked around by having the non-instance-owner player click the bismuth encounter, resulting in both players receiving the ore. This workaround does not appear to work with verisium.
My 2 player party has reproduced this issue 3/3 times each for both bismuth and verisium. This issue has not been encountered with crimson iron, orichalcum, or petrified amber. Last edited by Damah#0536 on Jul 27, 2024, 9:19:21 PM Last bumped on Aug 7, 2024, 7:12:03 AM

Can confirm both of these ores work exactly as described. 2 players playing on Steam in my friend's maps and I have never received any of the 10+ Verisium to appear. We also tried having me stand directly adjacent to the Verisium at the time the final monster was killed and I still did not receive it.

I can confirm the same bug. I pull the ore lever (so to speak) because I am the tankiest build and can survive the escape from the mobs, one of my party mates never gets the ore, another gets it just fine. I wonder if its something of an anti-botting mechanism because the party member is a buffer/aurabot

In the beginning when I'd join a party map all ores would work and be marked just fine. Yesterday I was actively searching and interacting with ores on my parties maps, since my town is in desperate need, but after trying multiple methods the bismuth would be marked for my party and not for me :( I've had no problem with any of the other ores. I hope this gets realized and fixed.
