Take Temple Chronicle Not Working

I completed my first temple in Act 9, but I cannot pull the chronicle out from Alva. I spoke to her in my hideout after I completed it and the option is there, but when I press it my inventory opens and I get no item.

You need to unlock map device aka act 10 kitava kill
