Muted for 10 min ? WTF ?

I think the mod muted me by mistake..

Its like the times I typed @ instead of $ and link an item to sell then someone says "reported for selling in global" and they mute for 5 mins, or the other times you defend yourself with someone 50 times less offensive and they mute you for it - [Removed by Support]

That's no surprise. The mods in game are damn near as sensitive as this forum. The real issue is that each instance is not fully investigated. Their idea is to simply tell you what you said; instead of what was said to you beforehand. This has long been an issue that GGG needs to resolve but seems very doubtful it'll be done for PoE especially since it's gonna be mostly ignored for working on PoE 2.

IF the mods are human and not automated then GGG needs to look into both the action AND not just the reaction. It's too easy to get muted aside from arguments though, like using non racial, non flagrant words or terms. I think this stems from a cultural disconnect in the difference between USA and UK or w/e PoE is based from. It's very evident which is why when asked, they'll NEVER give you a full list of what NOT to say. Just a blanket statement of whatever you said violates the terms.

Ironically enough, this same logic is also applied in game when it comes to wondering what's game legal and what's not. Like when is it legal to use or profit from game exploits; but you'll never know unless either

a) You get banned

b) Enough people do the same exploit to where the number of accounts "can't be banned" aka mass banning

I got a 50hr mute for posting this a few times. I didn't bother contacting support to remove the mute because I thought it was funny:

- l@Oops_I_diditAgain Hi, I would like to buy your In the Zone listed for 2 divines in Necropolis (stash tab "its britney biatch"; position: left 2, top 4)

After the 50hr mute I have not posted fake trade messages, I learned my lesson and it taught me to find something else to do with my time.

What I also learned is you can still edit trade messages.
