Can't corrupt gems at act 2 alter (Console)
I have been doing some practice runs and have watched streamers (PC) corrupt gems in hopes of getting the vaal version, but when I go to corrupt my gems (Lightning strike, Double strike) it doesn't give me the option. I am able to corrupt other items like rings or weapons, but haven't been able to get it to work with gems. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if it is bugged, was wondering if anyone has this issue.

Use vaal orb to corrupt gem
That Altar is similar to the incursion temple one so that it may not working with gem This is the start of forum signature: I am not a GGG employee. About the username: Did you know Kowloon Gundam is made in Neo Hong Kong?

The Vaal Ruins Corruption Altar 100% works with gems as I just verified this and got Vaal Ground Slam 1/0.
Edit: I either forgot this or didn't realize this but it appears this is only doable once per character. I swapped to another character and tried Lightning Strike and it just corrupted... no Vaal. When I relogged and reset the zone the Altar was there but was not available to use. I play on PC so... If this is a console only issue this might need to be posted in Console Bug Reports ![]() ![]() MSI X870E Carbon WiFi, 9950X3D, Sapphire Nitro+ RX 7900 XTX 24GB Last edited by 7ekken#2619 on Jul 24, 2024, 9:53:31 PM

" infinite vaal, or infinite omen from ritual. The devs would be fool to not predict that. Also the chest in Ship graveyard also one per character This is the start of forum signature: I am not a GGG employee. About the username: Did you know Kowloon Gundam is made in Neo Hong Kong?
