new Far Shot mechanic ?

The Far Shot Ascendancy Passive Skill no longer provides "Far Shot". It instead now provides "Projectiles gain Damage as they travel farther, dealing up to 30% more Damage to targets". So I thnk there're 3 things changed 1. Far Shot doesn't have penalty on closed range anymore. 2. Far Shot now provide 0-30% more damage and Barrages have no spread. 3. Far Shot from others source like unique items will refer to Deadeye's Far Shot So when you play Scion and you have Far Shot, you'll end up on dealing 0-30% more damage and your projectile barrages no spread anymore. (EDIT: Ive got the new POB up and it looks like it could also be as you have described, that far shot is changed and the wording may now refer to the deadeye ascendancy and may not be the assumptions I have provided. This may change the uniques as well.
Lioneye's glare in POB appears to be using the previous values for Far shot, but it could be that this is not yet updated. I'm unclear on it either way.) There is another post about this recently. From what I gather they were saying that it is basically a nerf to value on the ascendancy nodes, but as it has been renamed it can now stack with other sources. (This may be incorrect though, not certain) " Think Far shot is the same, but ascendancies no longer have this, have new mod that has these new values and no name. " I think Far shot still remains on the uniques, as it was before, penalty to close range and upto 60% more at far range, but the ascendancies don't have this, they have the new mod that has no name.
