Will Eternal Damnation be changed before league starts?
Every tanky endgame PoB from content creators is now Ralakesh + Eternal Damnation endurance charge stacker due to the additive nature of the stat "additional elemental damage reduction." The meta is already warping around the power of endurance charges but this combo makes you functionally immune to all elemental damage entirely. Nothing you can scale comes close to this.
Should they change Eternal Damnation to be multiplicative with endurance charges or let it ride for 1 league before it hits the dumpster? Should they just make the Eternal Damnation scripture T0 and Ralakesh T0? Edit: Twas nerfed " Last edited by DiabloImmoral#7632 on Jul 22, 2024, 8:17:19 AM Last bumped on Jul 22, 2024, 8:21:33 AM

Ralakesh feels both lame and mandatory. Charge generation has lost any meaning, and the combo with Maven's belts plus the fact that there are so many ways to lose charges makes playing with any type of charges without it an absolute pain.
Eternal Damnation as it is would be fine without Ralakesh. You would've to stack max endu charges, then min endu charges as well, while investing in max res or wearing Loreweave, and losing the valuable amulet slot. But then busted Ralakesh comes and ignores yet another unique's drawback. Edit: to nobody's surprise Eternal Damnation got nerfed while ralakesh are untouched... " 35% ele damage reduction in exchange for no charges and your ammy slot seems like a really bad deal lol. Maybe in the future if they add in more rare sources of "additional elemental damage reduction" and nerf endurance charges. |

You can still combine Eternal Damnation with Transcendance (and possibly loreweave to negate max res loss), but then you have to deal with no phys mitigation from armour AND no endurance charge... Bye bye damnation I guess !
