Introducing new Base Types

Hi,

i just wonder why introducing new Base Types couldnt you just edit the Numbers of the existing ones ?
For Weapons i could understand .... but for Armours?

Only thing it does actually is that i have to put a lot of work again into my Item Filter adjusting which Base Types and rares i want to see ... and also which fractured items, synthesied Items and so on ...

A lot of work without any visible Advantage

While I do agree that there are too many base types by far here there is the issue of the new base types having much higher stat requirements. Like the new Armour/Str body 'Royal Plate'(sp?) was shown to have ~293 (IIRC) Strength requirement.
No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!
